Disease description:

I've recently been experiencing frequent and urgent urination, along with a feeling of heaviness and swelling in my testicles. A friend suggested I might have orchitis or epididymitis. Could you please tell me what symptoms are associated with orchitis and epididymitis?

Orchitis and epididymitis are mainly divided into local symptoms and systemic symptoms. Local symptoms include redness and swelling of the scrotal skin, pain upon touch, and in later stages may involve the ipsilateral spermatic cord and lower abdomen, accompanied by discomfort such as frequent urination, urgency, and dysuria. Systemic symptoms may include chills and fever, indicative of inflammation. In chronic cases of orchitis or epididymitis, symptoms typically present as mild heaviness and swelling, with localized hard nodules.
