What are the manifestations of hypoxemia in children?
Disease description:
A few days ago, my sister just gave birth, but her baby developed neonatal hypoxemia. What are the symptoms of neonatal hypoxemia?
Symptoms of pediatric hypoxemia include generalized cyanosis (bluish discoloration of the skin), lip cyanosis, seizures, and arrhythmias. Pediatric hypoxemia is a serious and potentially dangerous condition; prompt medical evaluation and appropriate treatment are strongly recommended. Delay in treatment may lead to decreased blood pressure, reduced heart rate, and even respiratory arrest.
