What is acute cystitis?
Disease description:
I've now developed acute cystitis, but I'm not entirely sure what acute cystitis actually is.
Acute cystitis is caused by bacterial infections. Due to the shorter and straighter urethra, bacteria can easily enter the bladder from the urethral opening, leading to acute cystitis. Acute cystitis is associated with acute prostatitis, balanoposthitis, urethral stricture, urinary system diseases, and infections of surrounding organs. Diagnosis can be confirmed through urinalysis, ultrasound examination, urine secretion tests, and urine sediment examination.
