What should I do if luteinizing hormone is slightly elevated?
Disease description:
I found my luteinizing hormone (LH) level to be slightly high during a physical exam, but I don't know what to do. What should I do if luteinizing hormone is slightly elevated?
Slightly elevated luteinizing hormone (LH) levels can generally be treated with medication. High LH levels are usually caused by endocrine disorders and can be regulated using traditional Chinese medicine; however, hormonal drugs should not be used. In women under 35 years of age, elevated LH may be due to premature ovarian failure, which typically requires long-term treatment with Climem (a hormone replacement therapy). Diet-wise, it is recommended to consume more foods rich in crude fiber and low in muscle fiber, increase intake of vitamin C, eat more vegetables, and drink plenty of water.
