For anal heaviness and pain, warm compresses or warm water sitz baths are recommended to relieve symptoms. If the discomfort is caused by hemorrhoids, check whether the patient has symptoms such as rectal bleeding or anal itching. If rectal bleeding or similar symptoms are present, appropriate application of hemorrhoid ointment on the affected area may help alleviate symptoms. For sitz baths, water infused with Sichuan pepper can be used, which helps promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and relieve pain. If symptoms persist without improvement for 1–2 days, prompt medical evaluation at a hospital is advised for further treatment.
