Can you do exercise during your menstrual period?

I wanted to lose weight, but I gained too much during the holiday. Recently I've been following workout videos from some bloggers. Can I do these workouts during my period?

Generally, you should not do aerobics during your menstrual period. Aerobics involve intense physical activity, and during menstruation, the endometrium sheds and vaginal bleeding occurs. Vigorous exercises like weight-loss aerobics may cause uterine shaking, leading to abnormal endometrial shedding, which can result in dysmenorrhea (painful periods) and significant changes in menstrual flow. However, during your period, you can engage in certain activities to help manage weight—these should preferably be gentle, low-impact aerobic exercises.
