Can you perform gua sha if there are nodules in the lymph nodes?

There's a nodule on my lymph node. I originally planned to go have gua sha with a friend, but I'm not sure if I should. Is it safe to have gua sha when there's a lymph node nodule?

Lymph nodes with nodules can be treated with gua sha. However, gua sha does not provide significant therapeutic benefits. Nodular lymph nodes should be regularly monitored, with attention to any changes in size. If there is no trend toward enlargement, the nodules are likely benign. Lymphadenitis is a nonspecific inflammation, primarily caused by inflammation within the drainage area of the lymph nodes. It is advisable to drink plenty of water and consume more vegetables and fruits. No treatment is necessary in the absence of symptoms.
