What should I do if there is some adhesion after phimosis surgery?
Disease description:
During the follow-up examination, the doctor told me that I had developed some adhesions, though not severe. What should I do about adhesions after a phimosis surgery?
Mild adhesions after phimosis surgery can be treated with medication. Slight adhesions in the short term following surgery, without redness or swelling at the incision site, usually do not cause significant concern. During dressing changes, the adhered area can be gently wiped with normal saline or diluted povidone-iodine solution to help separate the adhesion. If adhesions are caused by larger scars, surgical excision of the local scar tissue may be performed to release the adhesion.
