Signs of severe pancreatitis
Disease description:
Sometimes I experience persistent abdominal pain, and after going to the hospital for tests, I was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis. What are the signs of severe pancreatitis?
Signs of severe pancreatitis include abdominal pain, which is usually intense. If peritonitis develops, the pain may spread throughout the entire abdomen. Toxic pancreatitis can also cause symptoms such as nausea and vomiting; the vomitus mostly consists of gastric contents, and some patients may produce coffee-ground-like material or bile. Bacterial infection in severe pancreatitis can lead to fever.
