Itching in the groin area behind the anus is usually caused by hemorrhoids, perianal pain, and similar conditions. When hemorrhoids occur, repeated prolapse of hemorrhoidal masses irritates the perianal skin, leading to itching. Symptoms such as perianal pain and bleeding during defecation can generally be treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing, topical application of hemorrhoid ointment, insertion of hemorrhoid suppositories, and, if necessary, surgical treatment. Avoid consuming excessive spicy foods and spices, as irritation to the anal skin may cause anal itching.
