Early signs of baldness generally manifest as hair loss, and may also include oily hair—for example, the scalp becoming greasy within less than 24 hours after washing. Additionally, recurrent folliculitis may occur; when this happens, the normal structure of hair follicles is often damaged, leading to hair loss and eventual baldness.
