I've had swollen lymph nodes for a month now, and the symptoms haven't gone away after a long time. Does persistent swelling of lymph nodes mean I have lymphoma?

Swollen lymph nodes that persist without subsiding are not necessarily caused by lymphoma. Lymph node enlargement may result from lymphatic inflammation or factors such as "excessive internal heat" (a traditional concept often associated with inflammation or infection). It is recommended that patients increase fluid intake and, under a doctor's guidance, take anti-inflammatory medications such as amoxicillin or penicillin. If the swelling does not resolve, patients should visit a hospital for further evaluation, including a lymph node ultrasound and complete blood count (CBC) test.
