What are the symptoms after cervical conization?
Disease description:
After my cervical conization, I felt something was abnormal. Later, I noticed a severe foul odor from the vaginal area. What symptoms can occur after cervical conization?
After a cervical conization procedure, patients may experience vaginal discharge that is watery and accompanied by an unpleasant odor. It is important for patients to maintain proper postoperative care. Most patients will experience varying degrees of relief within 7 to 10 days. The discharge typically appears as yellowish, cloudy fluid with a fishy smell, and occasionally sloughed necrotic tissue may be expelled. In cases of severe infection, the vaginal drainage may become purulent and emit a foul odor.
