I recently registered for a polio vaccine, and the doctor mentioned there might be some adverse reactions. I'd like to know what adverse reactions are associated with the polio vaccine?

Dr. Wang Mingxuan
Adverse reactions to the polio vaccine may include fever, redness, and swelling at the injection site. These reactions typically resolve spontaneously within a few days after vaccination and do not cause irreversible harm. Common adverse reactions include pain, erythema, induration at the injection site, and transient fever. In a small number of individuals, lymph node enlargement, irritability, drowsiness, or seizures may occur after vaccination, but these symptoms generally subside within three days.
