Doctor's answer (1)
Dr. Wang Mingxuan
Acute poisoning requires treatments such as inducing vomiting and catharsis. Toxins should be rapidly removed from the body in cases of acute poisoning. If the poison was ingested orally, gastric lavage and induced vomiting can be performed immediately. If a significant amount of time has passed since ingestion, catharsis can be used to quickly eliminate the toxin from the body. In cases of prolonged poisoning, hemodialysis may be conducted to promptly remove toxins, along with symptomatic treatment; for symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting, antiemetic and antidiarrheal medications may be administered orally.
