How to treat nosebleeds
Disease description:
Sometimes I have nosebleeds twice a day. The doctor said the nasal bone is misaligned and that it's caused by rhinitis. How can I treat the nosebleeds?
For the treatment of nosebleeds, if the bleeding is minor, apply ice packs and use compression to stop the bleeding: pinch the nose with your fingers, press the nostrils for 10 minutes, then slowly release. Medications such as vitamin C and normal saline can be used. Diet should be light, nutritious, and easy to digest; avoid alcohol and spicy or irritating foods. If the bleeding is heavy, prompt medical treatment is necessary.
