Testing positive for the antigen does not turn negative after taking Lianhua Qingwen, as it can only alleviate some early symptoms of the disease. Novel coronavirus infection is an acute infectious disease, and treatment mainly involves antiviral therapy, immune support, anticoagulation, and respiratory assistance. Lianhua Qingwen capsules are commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in clinical practice, known for clearing away toxins, relieving fever, and promoting lung function. They are indicated for influenza with syndrome of heat-toxin attacking the lungs. Therefore, taking Lianhua Qingwen may help relieve some initial symptoms, but it does not lead to a negative conversion in antigen tests.
