What are the symptoms and discomforts of genital warts in women?
Disease description:
In the past few days, I've noticed many small bumps appearing around the external genital area. There were none a few days ago. My husband said it might be genital warts. I'd like to know what symptoms and discomforts this condition could cause if it is indeed genital warts.
Genital warts in women are usually caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and commonly present symptoms such as vaginal bleeding and increased vaginal discharge. Small, pale red papules or warts may appear around the labia, vaginal opening, clitoris, or perianal area in affected patients. As the condition progresses, cauliflower-like or papillary growths may develop, with surfaces prone to erosion or exudation.
