What are the symptoms of cervical lesions?
Disease description:
After my recent physical exam, following the gynecological check-up, the doctor told me I have cervical lesions. Since I lack knowledge in this area, I would like to know what symptoms are associated with it?
Patients with cervical lesions typically exhibit abnormal vaginal discharge, such as a significant increase in volume and yellowish color, often accompanied by an unpleasant odor. In severe cases, purulent or bloody discharge may occur. Contact bleeding may happen during sexual intercourse or gynecological examinations, usually with minimal blood loss. If the cervix is chronically inflamed over a long period, it may lead to cervical hypertrophy.
