What are the symptoms of cervical lesions in women?
Disease description:
I had inflammation in the uterus recently and received treatment for a period of time. During my recent follow-up examination, the doctor mentioned that there were cervical changes. Could you please tell me what symptoms women might experience with cervical lesions?
Women with cervical lesions may experience abnormal vaginal discharge, which is often yellowish in color and accompanied by an unpleasant odor. In severe cases, the discharge may become purulent and contain blood streaks. Contact bleeding may occur during intercourse, with the blood appearing brown or bright red. Additionally, long-term chronic inflammatory stimulation of the cervix may lead to hyperplasia of cervical tissue, resulting in cervical hypertrophy.
