What are the symptoms of high-risk HPV?
Disease description:
I've recently had a lot of vaginal discharge, and today I went to the hospital where I was diagnosed with a high-risk HPV infection. Could you please tell me what symptoms are associated with high-risk HPV?
High-risk HPV may not cause any symptoms, but it can sometimes lead to abnormal vaginal discharge or bleeding. HPV, or human papillomavirus, typically does not produce specific symptoms in the early stages. Occasionally, it may cause abnormal vaginal discharge, such as increased volume, yellowish color, or foul odor. High-risk HPV is more likely to cause cervical cancer and may also result in contact bleeding, such as bleeding during sexual intercourse or gynecological examinations.
