Many young people today dress for appearance rather than warmth; however, failure to keep warm as the weather changes may lead over time to internal invasion of cold-dampness, potentially causing diseases such as arthritis—thus, timely warming measures are crucial. Diet should be balanced, with reduced intake of spicy, stimulating, and greasy foods.
