If there is pain inside the nose due to "heatiness," first check for redness or swelling. If present, disinfect the area with iodophor. "Heatiness" can easily lead to nasal boils; feel gently for any obvious lumps. If pain is significant, focus on reducing inflammation. Drinking floral tea and taking some heat-clearing medication may help. It is recommended that patients eat more light and清淡 foods in daily diet, avoid spicy and irritating foods, drink plenty of water, and consume more fruits and vegetables.
