Ovarian cysts can be compatible with sauna therapy. Sauna therapy changes the ambient temperature, promotes metabolism, and accelerates blood circulation, thereby improving sleep quality. However, sauna therapy has no effect on ovarian cysts—it neither causes the cysts to grow larger nor leads to their shrinkage—so undergoing sauna therapy is generally safe. Nevertheless, if the ovarian cyst is very large, vigorous physical activity may increase the risk of rupture, in which case laparoscopic surgery might be required.
