Main symptoms of ovarian cysts
Disease description:
Recurrent lower abdominal discomfort for over one year, diagnosed with ovarian cyst. What are the main symptoms of ovarian cysts?
Most patients with ovarian cysts do not experience obvious symptoms. However, in some individuals, the cysts may continue to grow, causing discomfort in the lower abdomen, menstrual irregularities, and other symptoms. Complications such as cyst rupture or infection may also occur, potentially leading to serious conditions. Ovarian cysts generally do not cause harm to the body and often resolve spontaneously in most patients. Surgical treatment is required if the cyst persists or enlarges, carries a risk of malignancy, or undergoes rupture or torsion.
