What are the symptoms of ovarian function decline?
Disease description:
Wanting a second child, but unable to conceive no matter what; suspecting ovarian function decline. What are the symptoms of diminished ovarian function?
Symptoms of ovarian function decline include dry skin, low libido, and others. Women may experience reduced vaginal discharge, dry skin, decreased libido, reduced menstrual flow, or amenorrhea (absence of menstruation). In addition, women may lose pubic and underarm hair, suffer from dry eyes, and develop loose skin. Ovarian function decline occurring in women before the age of 40 indicates premature ovarian failure, which can be improved with oral administration of progesterone.
