Dr. Guan Yanlei
Brainstem hemorrhage presents with typical symptoms, often including sudden loss of consciousness, eye movement disorders, and sensory disturbances in the limbs. Complications such as pulmonary infection and gastrointestinal bleeding may also occur. Brainstem hemorrhage usually involves a large volume of bleeding and is extremely critical. However, due to various reasons, if not treated promptly, it can be fatal; particularly in cases of medullary hemorrhage, patients may die rapidly.
