What are the aftereffects of cerebral hemorrhage?
Disease description:
Last month, my husband's father was hospitalized due to a cerebral hemorrhage. I would like to know whether this condition has any aftereffects, and what the potential sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage are.
Cerebral hemorrhage can lead to sequelae such as hemiplegia and aphasia. The main symptom of hemiplegia is weakened muscle strength in the limbs on one side of the body, resulting in difficulty moving or even complete paralysis, along with reduced sensations such as cold, heat, and pain. Motor aphasia refers to a speech disorder in which patients can understand others' speech but are unable to express themselves. Patients with sensory aphasia cannot understand others' language nor comprehend their own speech.
