Grandpa said he's been having headaches recently. After going to the hospital, he was told it was central nervous system damage. What are the symptoms of central nervous system damage?
Central nervous system injury can cause symptoms such as dizziness and hemiplegia. For example, dizziness and headaches may be focal symptoms or manifestations of systemic diseases. Conditions such as cardiogenic encephalopathy, ischemic encephalopathy, hepatic encephalopathy, and uremic encephalopathy can all affect cortical function, leading to impaired consciousness. Other possible manifestations include hemiplegia, hemisensory disturbance, language disorders, and cognitive dysfunction.
