Patients may take vitamin B12, neurotrophic drugs, nerve-stimulating hormones, and vitamin B12 orally. If there is visual field defect or vision is worse than preoperatively, a contrast-enhanced pituitary MRI should be performed first to determine the extent of residual tumor or postoperative changes.
