What causes soreness, weakness, and lack of strength in the left lower leg?
Disease description:
Due to work requirements, I need to stand for long periods. However, recently I've been feeling soreness and weakness in my left lower leg. What could be causing this soreness and weakness in the left lower leg?
Aching, weakness, and fatigue in the left lower leg are generally caused by conditions such as muscle or fascia disorders, lumbar disc herniation, and similar issues. Muscle-fascia disorders or tendon lesions are relatively common causes, resulting from abnormalities in muscles, fascia, or tendons. In such cases, rest and immobilization are required, along with topical or oral administration of pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medications. Patients with lumbar disc herniation may experience aching, weakness, and fatigue in both lower limbs, accompanied by radiating pain, numbness, weakness throughout the body, and even foot drop.
