How to treat rhomboid tongue
Disease description:
Redness and heat in the middle of the tongue; after going to the hospital for some tests, the diagnosis was rhomboid glossitis. How is rhomboid glossitis treated?
Rhomboid tongue typically does not require specific treatment when asymptomatic. If a Candida albicans infection occurs, antifungal medications can be used to effectively control disease progression. Generally, there are no spontaneous symptoms, and normal tongue function is unaffected. In daily life, it's important to maintain good oral hygiene, practice thorough and regular tooth brushing, and reduce intake of spicy foods.
