What are the symptoms of advanced cervical cancer?
Disease description:
This month, I've been having persistent high fever and severe pelvic pain. After visiting the hospital, the doctor mentioned it might be advanced cervical cancer. What are the symptoms of advanced cervical cancer?
Advanced cervical cancer can cause symptoms such as pain and high fever. The tumor extends along the parametrial tissues, invades the pelvic wall, and compresses surrounding nerves, leading to persistent pain along the sciatic nerve or in the sacral and iliac regions on one side. High fever in advanced patients is mainly due to tumor cell metabolism, absorption of necrotic tissue, and concurrent infections. Body temperature typically ranges around 38°C, and in some cases may even exceed 39°C.
