What are the symptoms of ovarian cysts?
Disease description:
An ovarian cyst was detected during a physical examination, but I haven't felt any symptoms before. What are the symptoms of ovarian cysts?
Patients with ovarian cysts typically experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, menstrual irregularities, and infertility. Abdominal pain occurs particularly when the cyst undergoes torsion of the pedicle, or when complications such as cyst rupture, hemorrhage, or infection arise. Additionally, malignant cysts can cause severe pain in the abdomen and legs, which is often very intense. Bilateral ovarian cysts can damage normal ovarian tissue, leading to menstrual disorders.
