The treatment of spinal cord and vertebral injuries is primarily divided into management of spinal fractures and dislocations, and treatment of the spinal cord itself. Stable spinal fractures are mainly treated conservatively with rehabilitation training, and the prognosis is generally favorable. Unstable spinal fractures typically require surgical intervention. Treating spinal cord injury is not easily curable; however, symptoms can be alleviated through simple methods.
