Can intrauterine adhesions be cured?
Disease description:
I'm young, yet I've already developed intrauterine adhesions. But I don't want to remain like this—can intrauterine adhesions be cured?
Asherman's syndrome (intrauterine adhesions) can be treated. Depending on the severity of the adhesions, treatment options may include medication, physical therapy, or hysteroscopic surgery. In cases of severe intrauterine adhesions, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis can be performed, along with appropriate preventive measures, to restore normal menstrual cycles and fertility. However, the risk of recurrent adhesions after surgery for severe cases exceeds 50%, often requiring multiple surgical procedures.
