Dr. Zhao Xiaodong
Left ovarian cysts are caused by infectious inflammation, surgical procedures, and other factors. Acute infectious inflammation of the left fallopian tube and ovary leads to the formation of tubal cysts. During treatment, although the inflammatory response has subsided, the exudate has not been completely absorbed, resulting in a cystic lesion. Due to surgical interventions and other factors, endometrial tissue may become displaced and implant into the left ovary. During menstruation, this tissue undergoes cyclic proliferation and shedding, leading to the formation of a cystic lesion.
