Rest for about 3 to 5 days after breast implant removal. During the first week after surgery, patients should avoid raising their arms or lifting heavy objects. For the first two weeks, avoid steam baths and swimming. Refrain from strenuous exercise for at least two weeks after the procedure. It is important to strengthen daily postoperative care to promote recovery. After several years of having breast implants, if they are not replaced, the original indentation and wrinkling may reappear.
