Dr. Bai Hongmei
Mild concussion is only mild in severity but still presents typical symptoms of concussion. It causes brief impairment of consciousness following trauma. The level of impaired consciousness is generally not profound and may result in daze or coma. Its duration is short, lasting from several seconds to minutes, and usually does not exceed half an hour. After regaining consciousness, patients are unable to recall events that occurred during the injury and for a period of time before the injury, known as post-traumatic amnesia and retrograde amnesia.
