How to treat mild cerebral concussion
Disease description:
Mild concussion is not uncommon in daily life. What are the symptoms of mild concussion? How can mild concussion be effectively treated?
For mild concussion, patients are advised to rest in bed initially. Vital signs, consciousness, pupils, and limb movements should be closely monitored, especially within the first 24 hours after the concussion, due to the risk of delayed hemorrhage. If the patient develops severe headache, nausea, vomiting, or impaired consciousness, immediate head CT scan is recommended to assess the condition. Patients are also advised to stay relaxed, maintain bed rest, and remain in a quiet environment.
