I've noticed nasal congestion and some difficulty breathing over the past couple of days. I suspect I might be sick. What could be causing my nasal congestion?

Nasal congestion may result from the accumulation of nasal secretions that have not been cleared in time, or it may be caused by allergic rhinitis triggered by exposure to allergens such as pollen or animal dander. Additionally, conditions such as atrophic rhinitis or dry rhinitis, in which excessive secretions are difficult to expel, or the presence of nasal papillomas or malignant tumors, can also commonly lead to nasal obstruction.
