Excessive menstrual bleeding one month after abortion is considered abnormal if it exceeds one-third more than the usual amount. However, a slight increase is normal. After an abortion, both psychological and physical changes occur, which may affect the endocrine system to some extent. As a result, menstrual flow may change during the first cycle, possibly increasing slightly compared to before. There's no need to worry—menstrual patterns may return to normal the following month.
