What symptoms does hemophilia have?
Disease description:
Today I heard that my neighbor's child was diagnosed with hemophilia. The child seemed quite healthy before, so I'd like to know what symptoms hemophilia usually causes?
If hemophilia is not severe, bleeding may occur after mild physical activity or tooth extraction. Some patients may experience excessive subcutaneous bleeding or joint hematomas. In more severe cases, repeated bleeding can occur in muscles and joints, and there may even be hematuria or intra-abdominal hemorrhage. If a hematoma forms after bleeding and compresses surrounding nerves, it may lead to numbness in limbs, muscle atrophy, and other symptoms.
