What symptoms may appear during a physical examination for hemophilia?
Disease description:
Today, during a conversation with a friend, I accidentally learned that people with blood disorders have different skin conditions compared to healthy individuals. I would like to know what symptoms might be observed in a physical examination for hemophilia.
Physical examination of hemophilia patients generally reveals pallor of the skin and mucous membranes, areas of skin bruising and swelling, or redness, swelling, heat, pain, and fluctuation in joints such as the shoulder, elbow, or ankle. Joint stiffness, deformity, and inability to move normally may also be observed. Additionally, in patients with long-term chronic bleeding, physical examination often reveals cystic encapsulated hematomas in muscles or bones. If any of these symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek active treatment under medical guidance to control disease progression and prevent adverse effects on health.
