What are the symptoms of hemophilia in babies?
Disease description:
My baby has been having nosebleeds for the past couple of days. After a medical examination, he was diagnosed with hemophilia. I would like to know what symptoms are associated with hemophilia in infants?
Infants with hemophilia typically experience prolonged bleeding from sites such as the mouth, gums, nasal cavity, and subcutaneous tissues following injuries. Frequent bleeding episodes may lead to symptoms including paleness of the face or entire skin surface, generalized weakness, and decreased appetite. Additionally, some children with hemophilia may have difficulty stopping bleeding after trauma or surgery. If head injury leads to intracranial hemorrhage, it can become life-threatening.
