What are the symptoms of kidney cysts? What causes kidney cysts?
Disease description:
My lower back pain has been particularly severe these past two days. After examination, the doctor diagnosed it as a kidney cyst. What are the symptoms of kidney cysts, and what causes them?
A more obvious symptom in patients with kidney cysts is back pain. Some patients may notice foamy urine or red-colored urine, and occasionally a mass can be felt in the abdomen. If it is a simple kidney cyst, it may result from infection or lymphatic hypoplasia, leading to lymphatic edema. If it is an acquired kidney cyst, it may be caused by a reduction in effective nephron units due to dialysis in patients with renal failure.
