Is nasal congestion and runny nose due to wind-heat感冒 or wind-cold感冒?
Disease description:
I've had a bit of a cold these past couple of days, with nasal congestion and runny nose. I'm not sure whether it's a wind-heat or wind-cold type of common cold. Is nasal congestion and runny nose more indicative of wind-heat or wind-cold感冒?
Nasal congestion and runny nose may be due to wind-heat感冒 or wind-cold感冒. If nasal congestion and runny nose are accompanied by fever, head fullness, headache, cough with yellow phlegm, sore throat, or yellowish, pus-like nasal discharge, it is usually categorized as wind-heat感冒. If the patient experiences fever, headache, body aches, clear watery nasal discharge, or cough with thin, white phlegm, it is typically diagnosed as wind-cold感冒. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly for an accurate diagnosis and follow the doctor's instructions for treatment.
