Symptoms of urethral stones
Disease description:
A relative was diagnosed with urethral stones at the hospital. What are the symptoms of urethral stones?
Symptoms of urethral stones include pain, hematuria, bladder spasms, and urinary incontinence. Patients with urethral stones may experience colicky pain within the urethra, painful urination, and pain in the lower back and sacral region, particularly with increased discomfort during urination. Hematuria is also common during urination, ranging from mild to severe, and in some cases frank blood in the urine may occur. Bladder spasms can develop, leading to interrupted or poor urine flow. In severe cases, patients may suffer from urinary incontinence, especially after physical activity, which may be accompanied by difficulty in urination.
