How to use Yunnan Baiyao hemorrhoid ointment

Under normal circumstances, Yunnan Baiyao hemorrhoid ointment should be used as follows: First, clean the anal area thoroughly. Then, apply an appropriate amount of the ointment to the affected area 2–3 times daily, with each application being approximately 0.5g–1g. Avoid excessive rubbing during application to prevent irritation. During treatment, maintain a light diet, avoid spicy and irritating foods, drink plenty of water, and ensure smooth bowel movements. Additionally, patients should maintain good personal hygiene, keeping the anal area dry and clean to prevent infection. If symptoms do not improve, seek medical attention promptly to avoid delaying treatment. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if allergic reactions occur or symptoms worsen.
