Breast pain during ovulation
Disease description:
排卵期乳腺疼
Ovulation-related breast pain refers to the phenomenon of breast discomfort that occurs during a woman's ovulation period. Ovulation is the most fertile phase of the menstrual cycle, during which the ovaries release an egg and the mammary glands undergo a series of changes. These physiological changes may lead to breast tissue congestion and hyperplasia, resulting in breast pain. This pain typically appears a few days after ovulation, lasts for 1–2 days, and then gradually subsides. If the breast pain persists for a prolonged period or is severe, it might be caused by conditions such as mastitis, and prompt medical evaluation is recommended.
